What we delete
When you delete your CricNoble account, the following personal information is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and profile picture.
- Your account login credentials.
- Your Firebase Cloud Messaging push token (no more notifications).
- Your private settings and preferences.
- Personal photos you uploaded to your own profile.
What we keep (anonymised)
To preserve the integrity of shared tournament records that other players have a legitimate interest in, the following is retained but permanently disconnected from your identity— replaced with a generic label such as “Deleted Player”:
- Cricket match data you participated in or scored (ball-by-ball records, statistics, points table contributions).
- Tournament structure (fixtures, groups, results) for tournaments you created — so co-organisers and players can still see what happened.
- News posts and team announcements you wrote — kept on the tournament feed under a generic byline.
We do this because cricket scorecards belong to all the players in the match, not just one person. Removing your data entirely would erase the historical record for everyone else who participated.
Retention timeline
Personal information is deleted from our active databases within 30 days of your request. Encrypted backups containing older snapshots are rotated out over a maximum of 90 days, after which no copies of your personal information remain.
Records we may retain longer
We may retain certain records beyond deletion only where required by law — for example, financial transaction records (if you ever subscribe to a paid feature) or records relevant to active legal proceedings.
